The HW-PEN-16LC-2KM is a high-reliability PEN passive aggregation module engineered for simplified optical network layouts up to a 2 km transmission distance. Operating with efficient single-fiber transmission from the central switch, the module splits data using 2-channel 2:8 passive optical splitting across its dual-row port configuration, while deploying dual-fiber transmission out to each remote optical module. It features a robust 1:1 feeder fiber backup mechanism via master and slave ports on its dual uplinks, alongside highly flexible group routing that removes the need for rigid, port-to-row pairing with remote access devices.
